Directions:
Take State Route 66 heading south from Spencerville. Deep Cut Historical Park will be on your right, approximately one mile south of Spencerville.
Park Features:
Deep Cut Historical Park is a 18.5 acre park that includes a paved parking lot, picnic shelter and direct hiking access to the Miami Erie Canal Towpath trail. Deep Cut is the location where the greatest excavation of the canal was made, and has become a registered National Historical Landmark.
- Pets on a leash are welcome.
- Our parks DO NOT have restroom facilities or trashcans. Please carry-out all trash.
- Overnight parking or camping is not permitted.
