The Dr. Elizabeth Yahl-Kuffner Nature Preserve has re-opened to the public! Thanks to generous donors, a brand new boardwalk has been installed to enhance accessibility to all hikers. In the coming weeks, new benches, trail signage, and informational kiosk will also be added to further improve this amazing Auglaize

56th Annual Walk With Nature Fall Festival Sunday, October 19, 2025 Noon to 5:00 p.m. Located in Memorial Park & Mill Park in St. Marys, Ohio along the Miami and Erie Canal Trail. Fall family fun & something for everyone! Bring the whole family and experience a relaxing autumn stroll along the beautiful Miami Erie Canal…(shuttle bus service included!) Then return to Memorial & Mill Parks to enjoy live music, crafts, reenactors, and a wide variety of vendor booths and farmers’ market items for browsing, as well as food trucks for snacking!

Founded in 1996, the Heritage Trails Park District currently protects more than 40 acres of land and water in Auglaize County, and offers year-round recreational and educational opportunities for youth and adults.


The Park District also strives to offer a variety of educational, recreational and historic programs. Participation and involvement is strongly encouraged. Please contact us if your are interested in volunteering.
