Leadership of the Heritage Trails comes from a three member board of Park Commissioners.  These commissioners are appointed by Probate Judge Mark Spees to serve a three year term.  Commissioners Dave Stilwell, Frank C. Murray and Jim Heinrich provide guidance and direction to the District.  Allison Brady was hired in 2008 as the first Executive Director for the park District.
